- Early Stage which is often asymptomatic and associated with spine segment dysfunction
- Intermediate Stage which is often associated with intermittent or persistent signs and symptoms
- Advanced (Late) Stage which is often associated with progressive signs and symptoms and with some degree of physical limitation.
